Recovery ride 🚴

Po ostatnich mocniejszych treningach potrzebowałem po prostu spokojnego ruchu i chwili oddechu. Bez walki o tempo, bez patrzenia na liczby. Lekka przejażdżka po Buczkowicach i okolicach, trochę bocznych dróg, trochę szutru i widoki, które robiły dziś większą robotę niż sam trening.

Beskidy znowu przypomniały, że regeneracja to nie tylko odpoczynek dla nóg, ale też dla głowy.

Recovery ride 🚴

After the recent harder workouts, I simply needed some calm movement and a moment to reset. No chasing pace and no focus on numbers today. Just an easy ride around Buczkowice and the nearby area, quiet backroads, a bit of gravel and views that mattered more than the training itself.

The Beskids reminded me once again that recovery is not only about resting the legs, but also clearing the mind.

Czasami najlepsze treningi to te, po których człowiek wraca spokojniejszy niż przed wyjściem z domu. Organizm dalej pracuje, nogi dalej kręcą, ale głowa odpoczywa.

Takie spokojne kilometry też są częścią projektu SUB40, nawet jeśli dziś zamiast mocnego oddechu były tylko chmury nad górami i cichy szum opon na bocznych drogach.

Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that leave you calmer than before you started. The body is still working and the legs are still moving, but the mind finally gets a chance to rest.

Easy rides like this are also part of the SUB40 project, even if today there was no hard breathing — only mountain clouds and the quiet sound of tires rolling through the countryside.

Nie każdy dzień musi być mocnym akcentem.

Czasem wystarczy rower, otwarta przestrzeń i godzina spędzona wśród beskidzkich krajobrazów. Człowiek wyjeżdża tylko na chwilę, a wraca jak po małym resecie głowy. 🚴🌤️

Not every day has to be a hard workout.

Sometimes a bike, open space and an hour surrounded by Beskid landscapes is more than enough. You head out just for a short ride and come back feeling mentally reset. 🚴🌤️
