Splinterlands, Bull or Bear?

Now with the recent crash in Cryptocurrencies, many people are cashing out and running away from Crypto. I do personally know of a few who are doing just that. Although it is counter-intuitive, but in times of a bear market, one should literally put more investment instead of withdrawing them out. Many of them when they see that their assets are in the reds, they panicked and started doing the opposite of what they should do. Now I do not blame them, for I too made this amateur mistake when I first started investing. But the question now is this. Splinterlands is not necessarily an investment. Yes, one can perceive it as an investment, but some may perceive it as a game as well. That being the case, let us have a glance at what has been happening to our dear Splinterlands.

First and foremost, DEC.

Now I must say I am actually very impressed. I was so sure this would be crashing (I mean it is already at a ridiculously low price now), but somehow it has bounced back up a bit. In fact, just today it has went up by 0.11%. Not a lot, but it is definitely the rare green among the sea of reds.

Next up, SPS token.

Now though it has dipped by 1.42% today, if you may just focus on the daily chart, you would realise that it has reached a all time high price since Feb this year!

Last but not least, the NFT itself. Now I have attached the link to my favourite website to make transactions, PeakMonnster.
https://peakmonsters.com/market
Now the price of NFTs itself is however dropping, and people in a way are trying to liquidise a lot of their cards. This is a great news as it will allow newbies like me to finally be able to make purchases!

Conclusion

Now while there may be tons of theories, I feel that one of the possible explanation for why we are observing this trend is because of bots. Now if you are treating Splinterlands as a game and really actively playing this game, you will realise that there are tons of bots! I would believe that perhaps with such volatile environment, bot owners might be concerned about the ROI thus liquidise their assets. As for people who treat Splinterlands as a game, it doesn't really make much difference as we will still be playing it regardless. And as mentioned earlier, I think this is a wonderful opportunity for people like me to finally have some decent cards!

So is Splinterland Bull or Bear? I would say, I am optimistic about the outlook and I would say that with the team of strong developers actively working on this game, it would be illogical to classify the outlook of Splinterlands as Bear

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.
They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others.
Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. People are going to want you dead when they find out what you did. I hope you die a slow painful death. You sick mother fuckers.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?

I tend to think the games that are developing somewhat will do fine. So Splinterlands will be fine because the assets tend to maintain the fiat value better under the bear market. The price of packs hasn't really changed much despite the huge drop.

Hey @jfang003 , welcome to my space.

Yea, my sentiments as well! After reading your post, I went to check on Rising Star and you were quite spot on. Not much change in the prices of fiat money. I honestly think it’s a wonderful time as it enables people like us who are here for the long run, to purchase cards. In fact, I am trying to save up for a piece of land!
