A rumour is being blewn in recent days suggest that Liverpool will be sold. Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, appear to be selling some or all of their stake. So far I don't know why the investor from the United States intends to sell their shares of Liverpool, which is the greatest football club in England. I have no idea the reason behind the sale.

Fenway Sports Group Holdings, LLC (FSG), is an American multinational sports holding conglomerate Based in Boston, United States. They own not only Premier League club Liverpool FC but also Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox, and the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins.(1). They are a big sports company.

Fenway Sports Group have owned Liverpool since 12 years ago. They purchased Liverpool FC for around $343.56 million in 2010.(2) and you know, they have taken no money out of Liverpool FC through dividends, unlike owners such as the Glazer family at Manchester United who regularly use the club to pay themselves.(3)

I believe FSG are now have already compounded huge profit by owning and building a successful Premier League Club, Liverpool FC for more than 10 years. So, in my opinion, FSG sell Liverpool is for a bussiness reason. As you know, Forbes last valued the club at $4.45 billion — the fourth-most valuable in soccer.(4)

It seems to be true that FSG will sell their shares of Liverpool FC. I believe it's not a rumour at all as a consorcium from Arab countries showed their interest of buying Liverpool. Rich Sultans from Arab countries have been starting to invest in Soccer Clubs in European countries. They have owned some clubs like Man City, Newcastle in England and PSG in France. Could Liverpool be the next one?

Investor From Qatar
I just got a news that consorciums from Saudi Arabia and Qatar show their interest in buyinh Liverpool FC. They are ready to load a huge sum of money to purchase the club. Liverpool is one of the biggest soccer club in the world. I think FSG will gain a lot of profit after selling the club. As we know that, they spent about 300 millions US Dolar 12 years ago, and compounding all the profit to build the club. So, now it worth about 4 billions US Dolar.

According to the news, the Reds owners FSG have held a takeover talk with Qatari investors. So, I think a consortium from Qatar will join Premier League sooner than expected. As a core fan of Liverpool, for me no matter who own the Reds, the most important is the existence of the club in Europe. The owners should play their hardwork for Liverpool to win as many as trophies locally and internationally.

I won't be surprise if Suadi Arabia bid for the club, but the possible sales of Liverpool have not been talked about presently it seemed that there is no good bidder for the club.
