You are good at kicking. You can kick the attacker from distance, as a result, he will not get a chance to get close to you. That's great if you are good at kicking. It will definitely help you in a fight.

When you deal with different situations in real-life, you might not be able to raise your legs up to kick. You are in a situation in such a way that doing high kick does not work.

Or, maybe the attacker is good at defending, so he might grab your legs easily. So what can you do in that situation to fight for self-defense?

You can do low kicks. You can kick directly to the attacker's knee. You can do side kicks to his legs. In case the attacker is very close to you, you can do foot stomp. When you hit the attacker's feet, that will be very painful.

Your hands are open. You can do palm strike, punch, chop, hammer fist strike and so on. If you move very close to the attacker or he gets close to you, you can do elbow strikes. You can follow high and low principles - striking high and going for the low. For example, doing elbow strike and then kicking to the attacker's knee or foot stomp.

This is not a fair fight. Most of the time, the attacker has the advantage, that's why he makes the move to attack you.
