Description from Strava: My fastest half ironman ride ever!!!! So stoked with a bike PB. I was six minutes faster than last time on this course and the course was longer than last time (average speed last time was 30kph exactly for a bike time of 2:56). It was a little rough riding into a head wind for the last 20k that has picked up so we didn't have the advantage of it as a trail wind in the way out. But I dug in and didn't let it get to me. Also lost the lid of my drink bottle so lost most of my electrolyte drink!
