Description from Strava: - 3 laps warm up

  • 7 laps racing

  • cool down ride home
I got to totora park early to help set up the course and there was a lot of people there to help so we got it done pretty quickly. Although it was sunny it was pretty cold so I was glad I had extra clothes to layer up with. I have been pushing my training pretty hard over the past two days so my legs were feeling it.
The course this week for race two was almost identical, except we went in an anti clockwise direction. A couple of really muddy parts on the track and glad that I was able to hose my bike down at the end. I think I was carrying a few extra kilos of mud by the end of the race.
Another seven laps of the course complete in the hour with the front runners completing about ten laps. I definitely didn't feel as good as the first race, but glad I had another good ride.
