Successful actifit update and a long walk 💪 - My Actifit Report Card: January 30 2026

After several days of trial and error, I managed to update the Actifit app. It wasn't easy, even though it's a simple thing to do, but I wasn't doing something right. I felt like I was at a dead end and was losing my patience and faith.

It all started last week when I left home very early, even before sunrise, to exercise. My brother accompanied me to the bio-healthy park, we walked at a new speed, and did our exercise routine. When we were halfway back, I noticed that the step counter was at 0. So I said, "Well, it didn't register today, tomorrow will be another day," so I set out to walk more meters, but nothing changed. Something wasn't working. Two days earlier, a friend, @mamaemigrantefit , had told me that the same thing had happened to her, and she told me about the new Actifit update, so I rushed to update it, but nothing changed.

I started reading some messages on Discord and was relieved to learn that it wasn't an isolated case. My friend solved the problem, but I didn't, and since I didn't want to waste any more days, I started reporting my problem on Discord. As usual, they are always ready to help, and they told me what to do, but the thing is, I had already tried all that, until today when they told me something I didn't know and that, suddenly, it's the same problem that others are having, which is why I'm sharing it.

Although I had the latest version of Actifit and all the permissions for Samsung Health, since my phone is an Android, nothing worked. I synced them and nothing happened. I installed and uninstalled several times, but nothing seemed to work, until @mcfarhat told me in the chat that I also had to sync Health Connect, which I didn't even have on my phone, so I had to download it.

After that, I synced my Samsung Health data with the apps that had permissions. To do this, I asked our friend Google, and it wisely guided me. If you still can't figure it out, or if it doesn't count your steps or show all the ones you took, you need to sync these three: Samsung Health, Health Connect, and Actifit, at least for those who use Android like me.

Today, as I was determined to find the solution, I walked a lot, even visiting a part of my community that I didn't know, and from there I took some photos of the lagoon. I hope my experience helps others, @nanixxx , I hope you can solve it soon. Thanks to everyone who helped me, I can finally rest 😅.

Me alegra que lo hayas conseguido. Yo cuando le doy a la ruedita dentada para poder seleccionar Health Connect, parpadea y se cierra Actifit. Así que nada... He pensado que es mi móvil que es viejo. Es un Redmi 10C.

Did you download Health Connect and allowed it to sync?

Yes, it is synchronised with my smartwatch app, My Fitness. But when I try to access settings in Actifit, it flashes and closes. It does not give me the option to choose Health Connect.

@nanixxx y no tienes el uno adicional de salud, en mi caso el Samsung Health, aparte del Health Connect.

El mio también hacia eso y lo.sigue haciendo, como pude seleccione Health Connect. Después de eso estuvo medio día sin sinconizar los pasos, pero como me dijo mcfarhat, eso no tiene nada que ver.
