π WIN 5,000 MEDALS β IPL Boundary BlackJack is LIVE on SportsBlock

Let me tell you something that has genuinely surprised us since we launched Sportsbites.
Cricket is everywhere on this platform. Every single day. It is consistently one of the most talked-about sports in the feed β the debates, the analysis, the match threads, the hot takes. Our community from India and Pakistan and the UK in particular have taken to Sportsbites like it was built specifically for them, and honestly, watching that happen has been one of the most exciting parts of this whole journey.
Me personally? I'll be straight with you. I'm an Irish lad who grew up on football and hurling. Cricket is a mystery to me. A beautiful, apparently endlessly compelling mystery that I have not yet cracked. I am working on it. The community is slowly educating me and I appreciate their patience. My father spent 10 years in London and loved the cricket. He was a Middlesex fan. He took me to a cricket match in London when I was 20 and we sat in a field and drank for the day. It was then I realised why the he loved cricket.
Anyway I'd be a fool not to celebrate it β and this contest is worth celebrating.
IPL Boundary BlackJack β Round 1
Here's the format. It's clever.
Guess the total boundaries (4s + 6s) in each IPL match. If your guess lands equal to or under the actual count, you score points equal to your guess. Go over? You bust. Zero points. Highest cumulative total across all matches takes the prize.
Cricket knowledge helps. Instinct helps more. And the format keeps every single match interesting right to the last ball.
Prize: 5,000 MEDALS
Entry: Completely free
Duration: March β May 2026
Kicks off: March 28th β this Friday
The Man Running It
This contest has been put together by @talesfrmthecrypt β and I want you to understand the level of person we're dealing with here. This man has his own cricket website. Not just a blog. A website. Dedicated to cricket. That is the depth of knowledge and passion behind this event, and it shows in how well the format has been designed.
When @talesfrmthecrypt builds a cricket contest, it's been thought through properly. Trust the process. Rumours has it that he can put you to sleep standing up telling you yarns about the famous follow-on at the Headingley Ashes Test of 1981 where Ian Bothams and his famouds mullet hit a 149.

good man @imfarhad . Thanks for entering. Best of luck
I still don't understand cricket. Someone send me some links for it a while ago and I tried, but it just went over my head. I still get it a bit more than rugby though. That's just so confusing!
It's baseball with a few sticks behind the bat. A bowler gets 6 bowls to hit the sticks called a wicket. If the batsman hits the ball over the boundary it is a 6. If it bounces before it then it's 4 points. That's the start anyway.
Seems pretty simple.
The more you drink at the these 5 day tests the more you understand it. π
Sounds like bowling!
