Seeking Social Media Manager
We are seeking a highly-motivated and skilled Social Media Manager to manage the Twitter presence for @sportstalkhive. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and scheduling engaging and informative content, interacting with followers and analyzing Twitter metrics to inform future strategy.
The Twitter Manager will ensure that all content aligns with our brand voice and mission. They will also be responsible for finding and leveraging opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with other sports-related accounts on Twitter.
This will be a great role for someone wanting to gain experience in social media management.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule Twitter content, including tweets, images, and videos, that aligns with our brand and mission
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages, and seeking out opportunities to interact with them
- Analyze Twitter metrics and use the insights to inform future strategy and content creation
- Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with other sports-related accounts on Twitter
- Report on activities completed to the Hive blockchain once a week under #sportstalk
Qualifications
- Prefer experience in Twitter management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Twitter management tools, such as Buffer
- Demonstrated ability to analyze Twitter metrics and use the insights to inform strategy
- Passion for sports and a strong understanding of the sports landscape
Compensation
This position is expected to pay 1,000,000 SPORTS per month. The first two weeks of funding will be provided by @sportstalksocial. It is expected that successful candidates will continue to be funded via the SPORTS Token Fund if they choose to continue the role and stakeholders consider their efforts worth rewarding.

I am open to assisting on both this one and the community manager one, but doubt I could do it alone. So, I am offering my assistance for free, so whoever gets either will have less workload and all the compensation.
Also, may I suggest you do something similar to the Scholar and Scribe community? They do this thing where 1% of rewards go to them. I think this could help providing extra pay for whoever ends up taking either roles.
I wasn't aware of this functionality yet @amirtheawesome1! This would be an instance where we'd want to do a proposal since it would affect rewards distribution and we'd need to add the Peakd account to the community but I think it's a great plan to help grow @sports-gov.
I wonder if we could mimic the functionality that @peakd is using for our condenser some way with @peakd.bot. I'm assuming the bot is just looking at posts in that community then muting them. I think the Hive Engine condenser offers a config to follow something like that. I'll dig in to find out more.

A quick win in your new role might be to start an initiative on social media that promotes Sportstalk posts on January transfer window rumours/news which always get a lot of traffic! I think we can encourage the content to be better than the regular click bait out there
