Sportstalk Curation Showcase #42

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Sportstalk Curation Showcase where we highlight certain users in our tribe. This is to try and garner them extra support with a follow or two by users adding them to their feed. The one thing we should all be looking out for is finding articles from users who entertain us with their interesting topics. We are here to enjoy ourselves so surrounding our feed with interesting and entertaining topics should be everyone's goal.

The 5 Biggest MLB Rivalries of All Time

Mr Consistency being @wolfgangsport is back with a bang this week with a great post on the topic of sporting rivalries. Baseball is not a sport I follow except on here and this is fascinating to read about the various rivalries. What I laughed at is no one seems to like the Chicago Cubs as @wolfgangsport has listed them as having 3 enemies/rivals in the sport. This is quite unusual as most teams have one who is normally a close neighbor that is more of a regional rivalry. @wolfgangsport selects his topics well and is a true sports fan as he covers multiple sports so he is worth keeping an eye on.

Arsenal march on to 50 points at HT

For those of you who didn't already know @ablaze is a die hard Arsenal supporter who is reveling in the lime light whilst his team is doing well. Funny fact is if the club wins the Premier League this year it would have taken them 20 years as they last won this in the 2003/4 season. This has been a rough ride for the club but the squad is young in comparison to other teams and what bodes well for the next few seasons. I wouldn't say they have won the title just yet as there is basically another entire half of the season to go still, but they have given themselves an outside chance at least. Lets see where they are in march when they have 10 games to go as that is when things get really interesting as pressure and mind games come into play.

And Like That....The Buffalo Bills Season Is Over

I had to chuckle when I saw @jongolson post this article as this reminds me of last year. Being a fan of a particular team that isn't so successful can be difficult as there is always hope and possibly miracles. Will @jongolson ever see his Buffalo Bills win the super bowl in his life time as one would think surely they have to do this at some point. I tend to look out for the Bills these days only because Jongo supports them and the tag #BillsArmy is always coming through my twitter feed because of him lol. One day maybe when they have a better coach/better team and a long list of better things plus loads of luck on their side.

Premiership Last Man Standing Results Week 2. Team Selection Week 3

@blanchy and his "Last Man Standing" is well on it's way going into round 3 this week. Plenty of casualties from the last weekend and expect more this weekend as unlike the last competition this should be over fairly shortly. The problem is the draws as the team you select has to win to remain alive in the competition and this is not easy as many of the top teams have been inconsistent. Give or take one or two the rest are like playing the lottery as there are no real bankers. My guess is still week 5 or 6 at best for a champion to be crowned. All good fun however and more people should be playing this as this is seriously good fun.
