Lichess Liga Team Battle - a successful begin! Next round this Thursday!

Dear chessfans!

Last Sunday our Hive-fueled blockchain chess team kicked off it´s participation in the "Lichess Liga Team Battle - Reloaded", read more about the event in the announcement post.

This time we have not started in Liga 12, like in 2023 where we could easily win, no, we were thrown before the lions, in the strong liga 5A!
It was a team battle with 116 players from 10 teams, with an average rating of 1923! Being even third for a while, at the end we were able to make the solid 5^th rank and therefore stay in liga 5! Frankly I was quite sure we would be relegated to liga 6 (we never could make it to liga 5 in 2023), and the opponents were indeed really tough, but thanks to the combined team efforts we made it - and big thanks to @jaki01 who alone scored 43 points and was in a real beast mode!

The rules:

• Everybody in our Lichess team can join using the link to the tournament (pick the blockchain chess team if asked 😃, in case you are part of multiple teams) and if you are not in our team yet, you can join anytime!
• Every Thursday and Sunday are tournaments that last 1h40min (but you don´t need to stay for the full time)
• The results of the 8 best contributors of each team (i.e. the "scorers") are counted in this liga
• Bonus: Every participant in the Team Liga (min. 5 games played) will get a one-time bonus of 3 points in the upcoming Hivechess season 21, all scorers 5 and topscorers will get even 10 points!
• Payout: Each week all scorers will get 1 or 2 Hive (depending if played once or twice that week) directly sent in their wallet!
