I seem to like old buildings better than new ones most of the time. Imperfections are often more appropriate than a perfect sheen. Plus, time always has stories. And often the bad stories are more valuable than the good ones. More alive stories...
I think even if I move to first-class perfect someday, I'll still come back to places like this to listen to these walls. That have a story to tell. It will be my own kind of Rome. A modern antiquity.
The windows are the eyes and the walls are the ears. I like to animate these buildings sometimes. It's amazing to realize that they've seen more people in their lives than I have. Or at least know more about them for sure than I do.
My home is my fortress.
And behind the wall of the fortress are many secrets.
Not everything is as perfect as it seems on the other side of those walls...

Greetings, good post, really the old buildings are very interesting especially at the level of history, sometimes when talking to neighbors who have more time living in a place one is surprised with what they have.
With regard to Hive, it is a good time to buy, unfortunately I don't have the possibility now, everything is going out of expenses, thanks to inflation, but if there is an opportunity I will buy.
I'm glad ber that you keep growing and that your savings plan is getting stronger and stronger.

I often prefer older buildings too. It's interesting living in the jungle for the past almost-five years, that I haven't really lived in an actual building that entire time. Structures made of natural materials harvested from the land, tarp, and screen is the extent of it. I really appreciate living like this now.
