steevc just finished a 7.48km run, that lasted for 47 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 593.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I have been in the office all week and am trying take it easy with my running to let my body recover a bit. I still wanted to lot some distance for the company MOVEmber charity effort and so tracked some walks to and from the office.

Today it was time to run again. It was a cool 3C, but not too bad really. I just did my usual loop up the hill to Fairfield. The pace was nothing special, but it felt okay. I saw a few people out there, but not many runners.

There is some path resurfacing going on up there, so I had to watch out for the uneven surfaces. As I came past the chapel I saw these big mushrooms. I was not tempted to take some for breakfast.

I was ready for breakfast when I got back. It was the usual granola with some frozen fruit I defrosted overnight and oat milk. Then it was in the shower. I am not into cold showers, but I let the cold water run off over me before the hot water comes through.

I will be at parkrun on Saturday. I missed it last week as I was out elsewhere.

Run free!

It does take it out of you. That's why I'm happy with the track I found. Much easier on the joints than the road!

Nice job on your run as always! My wife and I got our flu and covid shots yesterday, so we have been in a bit of a daze. We decided to skip working out this morning. I expect we will be back at it tomorrow though.

That can knock you back a bit. I ought to see if I can get a flu shot. The latest COVID one is only being offered to older folk.

Oh really? I guess I am a bit older than I used to be, but not that old. We were able to get them both at the same time. My parents got theirs a while ago.

You had to be over 65 to get it automatically, but some others may qualify. I've not been offered it.
