steevc just finished a 12.65km run, that lasted for 78 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 953.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I had quite a day yesterday, but I shall write about that later. Today was distinctly warmer than yesterday so that it was damp rather than frosty. I put on my running jacket that I have not used in a while. I actually got quite warm in that.

I did my usual loop around the villages. The way up to Fairfield was a little slippery with all the leaves and scattered mud. I was taking it fairly steadily, but the pace was not too bad for a longer run.

There are a fair few Christmas decorations up, but ours will not go up yet. I think it should all last a week at most. I saw some other runners out there.

There is a place in Stotfold where I often see lots of ducks by the stream and someone in the house there was tossing them some food. I decided to try and find my way to the old church this time. It is not on the main road, but I found it anyway. There was nobody around, but maybe they have a service later.

I took a fairly direct route home from there, but the distance was still good. That is about 20km of running plus a lot of walking over the weekend and my legs are fine.

As usual I have some chores to do. We have scaffolding coming this week for the installation of our solar panels, so I need to make sure the space is cleared. I also have to care for the chickens. The rats have been getting in the run, but we trapped one in a big bucket and I disposed of it.

Enjoy your Sunday and run free.

Solar panels, good stuff. I have been thinking about getting them installed. Anything to offset the leccy bill!

We wanted them years ago, but prices have come down and we have the funds now. I shall be reporting on how it goes of course. Do you get the sun up your way?

We don't get huge amounts but apparently the tech head come on and they are more efficient. It would have to be something I'm sure. Some people around us have them.

I shall be reading the reports with interest!

There's loads around here on houses plus the solar farms. I don't think you can get a grant for them now though.

Hopefully if the Tories get toppled at the next election they will bring back grants

If? I'm hoping they get soundly thrashed. This lurch to the right is disturbing.

I am hoping the same but they're is no accounting for the general public who just can't get enough of deferring to top-hatted toffs. Especially when they start lying to win!

Its always surprising how warm it gets after you get moving. For my run yesterday I was freezing for the first 35 minutes, and then promptly became too warm and had to unzip the jacket and take of gloves so I could cool down a little again!

There are a fair few Christmas decorations up, but ours will not go up yet. I think it should all last a week at most.

There are loads round here already up, like you I still think its too early, and will be waiting until at least next weekend before I think about getting them down from the loft

It was colder yesterday and I was okay in two light layers plus gloves and hat. I took the hat off after the run as I was too warm. I see others run in much more, but we are all different.

I heard solar panels takes over 20 years to payback, will be interested to see how much energy you generate from yours

The suppliers estimate much less than that and the panels should easily last 25 years. I want to create a log of what we generate and sell.
