steevc just finished a 13.11km run, that lasted for 77 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 994.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It was a bright, but cool morning today. Now I know the local paths were drying out I thought I would try one that can get a bit muddy and has even been flooded. I ran up past the parkrun course and past Chamney's healthclub towards Langford. That path by the lakes has been totally flooded in previous years, but I had not checked it recently. It was fine today. There is one field along there that was full of geese.

I started off with gloves on, but it was warm enough to take them off after a while. I did that when taking a photo of the long track stretching before me. I saw a fair few runners out there enjoying the sunshine.

I came back across the fields and into the back of Clifton. Then it was along the road through the villages. When I got to Henlow I got back on the Champney's track and did a reverse loop of the parkrun course. I have not done that in a while and it felt slightly odd to be doing it in that direction. I managed a couple of personal records on segments there. I got a second best on the way to Langford, but my record was set when doing some quick intervals with a friend and that will be hard to beat.

This was not as long as some recent Sunday runs, but yesterday did tire me out. I still managed about a half marathon over the weekend.

Run free and stay well.

Good work. I also like living in the village more than the city because the air and the things that happen there are very pure. They are very beneficial for human health.

it seems chilly there, not good for immune system and body in general

Great job on the 13.11km run and burning 994 calories! It's fantastic to hear about your experiences on the local paths and encountering various challenges, such as mud and geese, but still persevering and pushing through. The photo of the long track and personal records on segments are a great motivation boost. Well done on completing a half marathon over the weekend despite yesterday's run being tiring. Keep up the amazing work!

Looks like a nice spot for a run and 13.11km was a good run out.
