Morning Run: Bright and early

steevc just finished a 6.4km run, that lasted for 37 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 449.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
I had to get up a bit earlier to get a run in before work. Luckily it was already light, but not so warm.

I did a fartlek (fast play) run with random intervals out to Stotfold and back. It was fairly quiet as I was out before the school kids.

It went well, but I would have liked to have gone a little quicker in the sprints.

I did feel a few drops of rain, but nothing serious.

After breakfast and a shower I got ready for work only to find the train I wanted was cancelled. So I need not have rushed really. Never mind. It did not matter that much.

Have a good week and run free.

It looks like you have some good hills on the route and your time is good considering. I like this time of year when the morning are a bit lighter to support better running before work!

These days i have to wait till the day is bright before skipping so i don't disturb people sleeping around me, as i usually skip in the compound.
Well done.

I was away from my PC, but the Strava integration makes it easy to post anyway. More runners will be very welcome.

I really value your willpower to exercise and run, the truth is that I have terrible willpower hahaha but in a certain way you motivate me a Little to do it.

It seems I motivate a few people and that's enough reason to keep doing this.

Every run starts with a single step, but get your running shoes on first.

37 minutes for 6.3 Km is way too much if we see your previous records ;) What is the best run you had with respect to more km and less time ?

You worry too much about my pace. Training runs are not always about speed. I was doing intervals and so it varied a lot. I judge my performance by how I do at parkrun.
