steevc just finished a 11.7km run, that lasted for 70 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 936.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It has been an active weekend with lots of walking. We explored Portsmouth and Winchester, clocking up over 60k steps in three days that included a parkrun. I also had a swim at the hotel yesterday. So today was just a jog to keep my tired legs working. After sunshine on Saturday it has turned wet again. When I went out it was raining a bit, but it seemed to ease off.

I did my usual long version of the local loop. It was fairly quiet out there, but I saw a couple of other runners. It started raining harder and so I was getting quite wet. At least the underpasses were not flooded. My On shoes do nothing to keep the water out and were squeaking a bit as I ran. It was not too cold. I considered getting a new waterproof jacket the other day, but decided I would not really need it. It might have been a good option today.

My legs were not feeling too bad, but I was not going to push hard for speed on this run.

I had been planning to do some gardening today, but it is not looking so appealing now.

Happy Easter!

Going to a walk in this kind of weather has its own fun and it's much better for your health than the way you go every day.

We like to explore places. I do wonder if I overdid it a bit though. My back is stiff, but not painful. I'll be running again soon.

Wow man so great to see you still steppin' and pickin' after all these years on the blockchain. You were one of the first live music performers on the blockchain when I followed back in 2018.

I really only run when chased so I will have to get my steps in the garden this weekend!

Don't you know it!

I was thinking about the recent @tarazkp conversations about the compounding benefits of Hive. I didn't mention the mindfulness and living in the moment benefit when thinking about mundane things in terms of telling them as a story. Between that and the rewarding activity it encourages, sanity has to be another of those compounding effects!

The weather is getting better. A bit of a storm here yesterday with heavy winds. I had to wait for an hour extra due to delayed flights when picking someone up from the airport yesterday. Apparently we're expecting a warm blast from the equator by the end of this month. I can't wait haha.

We've had every weather this week already. It's been so variable, but at least I've not been out in the worst of the rain and wind.
