You can do it with a pinhole in some card. I might have been able to find some welders goggles if I'd had time. Do have to be very careful though. My setup worked pretty well, but kept getting clouds in the way. Family up in Scotland couldn't see it at all and it would be more covered up there.

We were driving into work so I just kept glancing through the trees every now and then. I think we could have gotten a good view if we had been on the road a little earlier.
