CFC Specials - Westham vs Chelsea game Preview
The first game of the season saw both club drew their match with Westham playing Bournemouth and Chelsea playing Liverpool. Chelsea currently has about 7 squad players on injury and might be lighted at the moment but the new addition to the team has made them strong again. Moises Caicedo and Lavia was added to the team last week and mid week respectively.

Lavia the latest addition to the Chelsea team.

The captain of the team being injured is a bad omen to the team but I know the backup is as good as Reece James himself. We have seen a glimpse of what he can do in the preseason.

Head to Head sees Chelsea won more game than Westham in recent games. I believe tomorrow game gives the Chelsea fans the momentum needed for the season with beautiful additions to the team.

Lucas Paqueta joined Tomas Soucek in the midfield for the opening weekend's stalemate against Bournemouth, but the 25-year-old has been extensively linked with an exit to cover a De Bruyne-sized vacancy in Man City's lineup. That might mean James Ward-Prowse, a new Southampton signing, makes his debut quickly alongside Soucek. The absent of Lucas could be detrimental to Westham which allow Chelsea to increase the head to head taking the recent form into account.

David Moyes appeared to favour Rice as the centre midfielder authorised to occupy attacking positions last season. The former Cobham coach contributed four league goals and one assist, down from the towering Czech's five and one the year before. A new threat for the Irons will come from Ward-Prowse's set-piece goals, although Paqueta wasn't a slouch either, adding to seven goals in 2022–23. Gianluca Scamacca signing Atalanta has left the Irons lacking a striker, and Moyes must be worried about overworking Michail Antonio in yet another season of UEFA midweeks. Dynamic winger Maxwell Cornet, young striker Divin Mubama, and seasoned hunter Danny Ings are alternatives off the bench.

While Man City added the UEFA Super Cup to their trophy cabinet in midweek, West Ham added the Europa Conference League trophy to their collection last season and may possibly flaunt it before Sunday's game. Both have a long way to go to reach Man United, Chelsea, and Liverpool but are currently more successful in Europe than Arsenal, Newcastle, and others.

The Blues are ranked second and West Ham is ranked fourth in a historical table of Premier League matches involving the seven current capital clubs. The Hammers have endured the most derby losses in the tournament (119), while Chelsea is aiming for its 150th Premier League victory over all London rivals to become the second team after Arsenal to accomplish this milestone.
