Chelsea Specials - Deivid Washington could be inline for a full debut

On Sunday, Pochettino once again selected Deivid Washington for the bench. Less than 48 hours prior, the young Brazilian forward gave the club his debut goal as our Under-21s rallied to defeat Manchester City. Mark Robinson, head coach of our Under-21 team, was impressed by his performance.

In addition to scoring a quality goal, Deivid demonstrated an excellent awareness of what was required on and off the ball, according to Robinson. He should therefore be extremely happy with his performance. As he fully integrates himself into the group, I'm confident he has a lot more to offer. On a hot day in Surrey, the cast of "Noni Madueke" grinned for the camera during a well-earned water break.
