Kane should ultimately surpass all the players on this list in terms of goals scored and assists as far as those that I would consider pure strikers - I wouldn’t personally class Rooney or Bergkamp as strikers per se.

I actually would rank Kane higher than more than at least 5 names in that list.
he would definitely make a top 10 list. I did mention that it was only going to include retired players
Hey mate! Fair call regarding Rooney and Bergkamp. It was a hard one especially when players would line up in a centre forward position. A more accurate description may be "best number 9's" in history, but then again, a lot of these players may have moved around to different positions. Best "pure" striker may be a different conversation all together
I think @amirtheawesome1 is trying to solve that debate in his latest post :-)
