Nigeria isn't just the giant of Africa for nothing as we have wrapped up Africans Group B game at the 2025 AfroBasket in style on Sunday at the Pavilhao Multiusos de Kilamba, securing a 99-90 victory over Cameroon.

With the win, the D’Tigers completed the group stage unbeaten (3-0) and booked an automatic spot in the quarterfinals.

Nigeria’s balanced team effort saw six players hit double figures. Josh Okogie led the charge with 16 points, followed by Caleb Agada (15), Stan Okoye (14), Christian Mekowulu and Ike Nwamu (12 each), while Martins Igbannu added 10.

For Cameroon, Fabien Ateba topped the scoring with 19 points, Yves Missi added 18, Jeremiah Hill—who exited with a knee injury—scored 16, and Samir Gbetkom chipped in 13.
