Yes, 10 days have passed since I last ran, perhaps the longest period of time I've been without running, except for vacations...
and it's just that these last two weeks have been a mess for me, falling sick for a couple or three days, an unusual workload and family obligations have made my whole plan go to waste.

Finally today, at noon, I have returned to the running club, seeing old friends is very motivating and being able to enjoy a fairly cold but exceptionally sunny day is a pleasure that very few can enjoy, indeed excellent conditions for running.

As my running shape is deplorable and I only had about 30' to train, I decided to do a short progressive combining asphalt and sand, visiting three breakwaters along the coast and taking some photos there.

Feelings have been good since I have come out quite conservative...

In the end, have been a little more than 5'50k in about 28', which is not bad...

More details in the @strava2hive post to come.

Keep on running!

Greetings friend, I identify a little with your post, today after two years I could put on my cleats and I trained running several sprints, I feel so happy at this moment that I do not know how to explain it. I hope you recover soon, a hug from Venezuela.

you're still an inspiration for lazy plebs like even if you take 10 days breaks :)

Good to hear you're back up and at it, a run along the beach sounds like the perfect place to start back.

You'll get your pace back in no time I am sure!
