My Actifit Report Card: November 30 2021

So long to November and now it's on to December and then the (hopefully much better) new year.

At least I got up and outdoors early today so that I could put in a nice long walk and then have a long day to do some chores (plus spend time at the dog park😁).
Went out and after a mile loop on the neighborhood roads nearby I hit the trails for a good 2 miles of dirt.


I had to jog a few of the gentle downhills on the trail to keep up a good pace. Fortunately the footing wasn't too bad and I didn't trip over my big feet on the loose rocks. These trails are so close to the road but it's a quiet spot that often has people out walking but no one else today.
Afterwards it was an easy road loop around to home to put in my 6 miles-at least the roads were empty of traffic so I could enjoy the Autumn scenery as the trees are busy shedding their old leaves as winter approaches.
A couple of hours at the dog park so Lulu could run around and I could chat with friends.
Just spent the afternoon hours sluicing my Copper Basin Wash gravel with a few nice bits of gold for my efforts. Tomorrow I hope to head out to the old mining area around Cleator and see if Turkey Creek has any water to pan for gold and get in some hiking while we're up there.
