My Actifit Report Card: March 19 2023
Hopefully our last weekend stuck at home without a car and the opportunity to get out into the hills/forest to explore.
It was mild enough for a family walk with my wife and Lulu so that they could meet my little Yorkie friend Jake while we covered a good 3+ miles around the Prescott rodeo grounds.
A bit slower walk since my wife's hip isn't 100% yet and Lulu had to pause a few times but I don't mind since I do a harder exercise later by myself.
My afternoon walk was along the Centennial Trail for most of my miles with a mile or so to and from the trailheads. Thankfully the trail was much mote dried out and not the mucky mess that it was a few days ago. It's still a rugged walk in spots where the trail is narrow and rocky.
I actually felt a bit winded on the rocky climbs so it was a helpful workout but my weight needs to drop a lot to help my sore knees and allow me to get back to running.
Looking forward to being back out in Mother Nature soon.
