My Actifit Report Card: May 18 2023
A hot and dusty day down in Stanton but at least the prospecting was good and the flowering plants helped brighten up my day. Plenty of walking around for me and Lulu was happy to be back out in the wild again.
We spent about 5 hours under the sun and I put in almost a couple of miles hiking and hauling around the hills. The area is really beginning to dry out and hopefully all that dry scrub won't lead to bad wildfires this Summer.
Lulu finally figured it was easier and more comfortable to lay down in the shade and watch her Daddy do all the hard work.
Storm clouds followed us home but just a few light sprinkles every now and then during my 5 miles in the late afternoon. The cool front bringing in the clouds was good to cool things down nicely and the few showers were good to dampen the ground and clean up the hazy air a bit.
Too bad my diet wasn't too good but my exercise today was better so I just have to work on being more healthy in my diet.
Oh well, time to get all of the dust off. Looks like I found more than enough gold to pay for my gas.
