Hivers are Still Earning Juicy in the Sports talk Social Community

About two weeks, I wrote a post titled SportsTalkSocial Community is not Dead. The post highlighted a writing contest that was desienged to help Hive users interact more in the Sports Talk Social Community and via the sportstalksocial frontend. Though the conntest earned a considerably low engagement, it is believed that consistently putting up such prompt on a more regular basis would get more users active in the community.

In an attempt to curate some SPorts contents, I decided to use the PeakD frontend of the STS community and it was beautiful to behold that in addition to earning the seemingly poorly priced $SPORTS token, some Hive users are still earning decent writing Sports contents. The screenshot above shows some recent posts of users in the trendig page of the community with Hive rewards ranging from $7.45 to $22. Understood that some of the curation may be from other curators, but it is valid to know that some curators are still lurking around the STS community to reward decent and quality posts.

Whatecer the sentiments may be, the SPorts Talk Social community is not dead, a right initiative and marketing effort would level things up and bring live back to the community. Keep posting and keep socializing!

Sorry but I cannot agree with you.

The STS is dead hivers are posting there since it is a community that accepts sports content.

Most part of the rewards Came out of the community.

People are not really engaging... Community owner disappeared and governance proposal are not pass due to STS holders be in active.

So,taking all this is consideration I think SportsTalkSocial is dead or almost dead

I know a lot of things are going wrong within the STS communities but it can all be redeemed by just one right actions. We can't throw in the towel so soon with all the years and funds invested in here. We hpope someday, everything gets back well on track. I salute your drive to seeing the STS better.

I have almost lose my faith since the owner dont to do some changes in order to try to improve something.

He doesn't anything and we have several months without any activity on community accounts.

I have stopped voting for users who keep powering-down constantly and keeping nil or negligible SPORTS Power in balance. Actions of these users put tremendous selling pressure on the $Sports token keeping it at the low level all the time. By doing so, these users unwittingly sabotage my (and other investors') investments and discourages others from investing in $Sports token. I don't see any utility in supporting such users even if (and especially if) they are regular contributors because they are the ones who would be regularly putting selling pressure on the $Sports token.

I have also stopped voting for users who post in total disregard for copyrights of others. I can understand copyright is complex and there is a lot of confusion over it but that doesn't give users the right to disregard the law. There are enough material from internet sources to learn at the least the basics to avoid blatant disregard that I see in STS community. I have also attempted to explain it to some users in my comments but at least 50% of them do not seem to bother because despite their infringing behavior they still get support from other community members.

I give preference to those who post copyright-infringement-free images and follow the best practices for attribution.

It is really a dificult time for early investors in the STS projects. SOmetimes, it's hard to regulate what token holders do to their token especially when there is no tangible development i the community as we see. I just wish that PatUlrich can see need to reactivate his engagements here as least so that some tangible changes can be made to move the community forward.
