Ciertamente, Israel Adesanya, estaba arriesgando mucho en este combate, quiso la revancha de inmediato, no habían pasado ni 6 meses de aquella derrota, frente a Alex Pereira. Perder nuevamente, lo colocaba en una situación complicada, pero, vino con la mentalidad correcta, jamás corrió al enorme desafío y obtuvo la victoria por medio de un nocaut impresionante. ¡Increíble performance!
Certainly, Israel Adesanya, was risking a lot in this fight, he wanted a rematch right away, not even 6 months had passed since that loss to Alex Pereira. Antes de llegar a esta batalla, los excampeones, al momento de recuperar el cinturón, tenían un récord de 3 victorias y 11 derrotas con respecto a historia en la UFC. No es fácil perder la faja y luego volver a recuperarla. Generalmente, cuando te despojan del campeonato, difícilmente vuelves a ser campeón, justamente vimos hace poco lo que ocurrió con Kamaru Usman, excelente campeón que no pudo recuperar su cinturón y que posiblemente no vuelva a serlo más nunca.
En el caso de Israel Adesanya, el reto era muy fuerte, tenía en frente a un semipesado, Alex Pereira, carga mucho peso, lo supera ampliamente en masa. Sabemos de su pegada, posee un martillo y además lo había vencido en 3 ocasiones. No había absolutamente nada a favor del nigeriano, lo que acaba de conseguir Adesanya, simplemente es historia, esta victoria quedara marcada como una de las más importantes que se hayan visto dentro de la empresa.
Siempre se mencionó que Israel Adesanya, tenía mayores herramientas, es un peleador más completo, un artista marcial de mejor calibre, haciendo comparaciones contra Alex Pereira. Pero, no puede vencerlo, Pereira está adentro de su cabeza, no puede superar este muro. Estos comentarios eran recurrentes, aunque Adesanya es un peleador especial, de los más grandes del peso mediano, en cuanto a historia actualmente es el segundo mejor peleador, por detrás de Anderson Silva. ¡Gran hazaña!

Entrando al combate, Alex Pereira, estaba ejecutando la misma estrategia, pegando muchas patadas abajo, los castigos estaban siendo de gran importancia, la pierna izquierda y base de Israel Adesanya, se veía lastimada. Mismo plan del anterior combate, buscando quitar la movilidad de Israel y luego atacarlo fuertemente para noquearlo. Nada mal, aunque seguramente se confió, Alex Pereira, pensó que sería la misma historia y termino pagando caro el bajar las manos.
Se pensaba que Israel Adesanya, tenía que correr, pelear a gran distancia, no dejarse conectar y ganar por puntos. Bueno, nada de eso, desde un principio se le vio con mayor agresividad, por momentos se quedaba a intercambiar, asumiendo el riesgo, porque los golpes de Pereira los estaba sintiendo, y sabemos que no era una buena idea recibirlos. Pero, lo había dicho, esta vez, Israel Adesanya, sería el cazador y no fallo con sus palabras. Se quedó en la distancia corta, cerro su guardia y como todo sniper conecto una brutal combinación de derecha.

Brutal!! Ese derechazo en corto fue espectacular, y la celebración epica jaja. No sé si notaste pero Israel ganó más peso para esta batalla luego del rebote, obviamente Pereira seguía siendo más grande pero Adesanya minimizó un poco esa brecha. También pienso que Pereira de confío en el sentido que podría volverlo a noquear y cuando lo tuvo contra las cuerdas no dudo en finalizarlo pero boom! el finalizado fue el!!
Si puede ser que Israel haya venido mas grande, Pereira si se notaba que estaba enorme, no hubo sorpresa por ese lado. Y yo pensé que Alex lo tenia, cuando estaba en la reja, me imagine que lo iba a noquear, pero nada de eso, lo liquidaron justamente a él. Una locura bro.
