Hitting The Attacker's Foot - Self Defense

avatar

Is it summer or winter?

You wear clothes according to the weather and season. I think you do not wear those clothes in the summer that you wear in winter, do you? You understand the weather, temperature and season. So you know what to wear and when to wear.

When we talk about the specific strike to attack or defend, you have to understand the situation, your position, and the attacker's movement. In order to defend yourself, you have to make your move in different ways. Yes, you can attack the attacker's foot for self defense.

So you know you can attack the attacker's foot and you get close to the attack to hit his foot. If you go directly there, that will be a problem. When you attack the opponent's foot, you have to be in a close range. You cannot stay far away and hit the opponent's foot.

If you and your attacker get close and you are in a fight, you can hit his foot with your heel. It is going to be painful if you can hit properly. It will definitely distract him.

I talk about distracting the attacker in different posts. You can use it as a strategy to distract your opponent or give him an obvious signal with pain that if he gets close to you, he will be in a big problem. You can use it in different situations against different attacks.

Suppose, someone grabs you from behind, AKA, bear hug. He grabs you so tight that you cannot do anything to get rid of it. Well, he grabs your body and arms, not your legs. You can hit his leg or toe of his foot with the heel of your foot. He will feel the pain, get distracted and at the same time, you see he is not holding you so tight anymore. Now you can make your move to get rid of bear hug.

When you apply this, you need to understand where your opponent is and which situation you are in. Then you hit the attacker's foot and defend yourself.
