Welcome back to Self Defense Situation - What Do You Do? - Part 16. In this series of posts, we talk about different situations and what you should do to defend yourself.
How you defend yourself and counter-attack, it depends on where you are. Sometimes you cannot do high kicks, or you cannot even raise your legs. Still, you have to make your move to protect yourself.
Suppose, you are in a store buying something, someone can try to steal your purse over there. Now if you are a shopping mall, there is not so much space over there. And this is not a movie that you will kick the attacker, and he falls, something is broken. Or, at least, the glass will be broken. You might see something like this in the movies.
Here you want to stop the attacker so that he cannot steal anything from you. That's it. Let's watch this video.

Of course, you have. We use ATM booths in our everyday life. Attackers can attack you beside the ATM booth or even inside the ATM booth. I'm not making this up. It happens in real life.
So what can you do to avoid a situation like this?
If you are aware of the situation, that can help you. You can avoid going to the ATM booths late at night or early in the morning. When the attackers see you are alone and no one is around you, they take this opportunity to steal your money.
If they have any weapon, for example, the guy holds a knife and asks you to give him your money. Talk to him, move to the side and give him the money. Keep an eye on him the whole time. He might stab you even after getting the money. Who knows?
