We love to watch the fighting match. We are excited about it. You want to be a champion, that's your target. You are training martial arts for that. Your why is the driving force of learning martial arts. So, it is important to define your why before learning martial arts.

However, participating in fighting competition and being a champion are not goals for many people. They do not want to be a champion. The only thing they care about is to learn self defense that can save their life in case their life is in danger. If that's the reason you want to learn martial arts, you should choose those martial arts that focus on combat self defense.

Wing Chun is one of the martial arts you can think about learning if your end goal is to learn self defense. Whether we learn martial arts or not, we all know about Bruce Lee and how you spread the positive vibes in this world. He was a martial artist. He learned Wing Chun. Wing Chun is effective in close-quarters combat.

The way they punch, block and counter-attack, that's amazing. You will understand the movement of the opponent body. You are attacking the central line. You can sense your opponent strike, defend and strike. You can watch the above video.
