You are far too optimistic, my dear @costanza. 2017 will repeat only in case of total financial (fiat) system breakdown, and then you won't be expressing steem value in dollars, but in satoshies :)

That's the dream to one day express everything in Satoshies instead of dollars :)
The marketcap of all Steem right now is around 44 million which is not all that much given the fact that the tech itself works pretty and runs a very successful business in Steemmonsters. In that regard I can see it go higher. Given the broken reward pool system right now I have a hard time to see it all really take off.
