Boxing is one of my favorite sports. I love every aspect of boxing and one of them is the corner moment a boxer share with his trainer. In that moment is only the two of them, two souls connected looking forward for the same goal. The role of a trainer is highly important in these moments of pain, and concentration is surely a must.
Teddy Atlas is one of the best boxing trainers the world of boxing has given birth. When it comes to motivation he's an A+ as you can see in this video of Thimothy Bradley's last fight and I quote him:
"Look the fire is coming. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them."
