Nadal has problems with his knees from previous injuries and will not be able to maintain. Clay is easier on his body than the hard grass and asphalt courts. I think he has to be selective on his tournaments going forward as he is managing his body. The end is definitely in sight for him and must retire whilst still at the top.

I agree, he's not a fan of hard for a good reason. I hope he can recover and come back soon as time is of the essence for him.
