The first thought I had when I saw the YouTube highlights is how he is so different from a Mourinho signing.

This reminds me of a Memphis type of player even body wise.

Muscle really inhibited Memphis's playing style in the league.

All the same, better Levy who is making signings when we are still being drip fed rumours of a Bruno deal untill the window closes and we have no signings at all.

Yeah, I think things are about to get ugly at United.

I doubt he is a Mourinho signing. The mechanics of Spurs transfer policy is shrouded in mystery but in the last 6 months of Poch's reign his comments to the media made it pretty clear that his opinion counted for very little in regards who Spurs were targetting. I'd be surprised if Mourinho has much more say than Poch

I reckon a deal looks pretty close though. If it's being reported on the BBC website then you know it's not just rumour and the story has at least some basis of fact
