Heartbroken - This Arsenal loss hurts me so much.
I wanted to make a video so everyone can see how I feel but I’ve decided to write.
It was a painful loss for us yesterday in our match against Manchester United. As a Gunner fan, the loss cut deeply to me to lose 2 to 3 to the red devil. What made it more painful is that the game felt like a flip from our hands. For some reason, the boys were not at their top form, and it was like Arteta was a bit frightened by the opposing team.
The first 30 minutes of the game, we were in control, pushing the pressure, and we did not stop there. We went on down to the midfield and kept on going without stopping. Sadly, all these were not enough to get the win for the club in today's match. The play for the game was in our court while it lasted. You know what they say about football, one moment you have it, and the next moment, you do not have it anymore. I have to give it over to Manchester United for the run for our money we got today, especially the goal from Dorgu in the second half.
Starting off the game, Arsenal had the opening control by scoring the first goal in the first half, thanks to L. Martinez. At this point, my heart was already relaxed, thinking this would be 3 point for the Premier League table giving that we are coming from a draw. The win would truly mean a lot for the team as a moral booster. It did not stop there at all. Soon later in the same half and that is the first half, there was an equalizer from Mbeumo to balance the game. Honestly, I was not worried at this point, because we have been in positions like this and we found a way to scale out of it.
It was a product of 27 minutes when we scored the first goal and then by 37 minutes in the first half was the equalizer. Then things began to change by the time the second half. From no way, Manchester united grew muscles have the 15 minutes halftime break. It was like they was told their lives depended on this game which helped to change the course of the game in the second half. It was like a legit way that turned us Arsenal fans sitting at the edge of our seats when the game started for another 45 minutes.

So it was like all our effort was going to be a waste for us in the second half. From a control possession, down to the legs of Dorgu after an assist from Bruno Fernandes and boom it was a goal in the post. At this point I was worried. It got me thinking all the bragging rights where in a strong contest. What will my Manchester united friends tell me when I meet up with them and you know how Manchester united fans can be very loud especially from a win like this one.
Things tried to remain calm when we got an equalizer from Merino and I was thinking it was all going to end in a draw at least but the pressing kept on coming in until the tragedy struck. It was a goal from Cunha at 87 minutes of the game. It was the heartbreak of the day for me even when we got the 7 minutes added time, it was not enough to get a goal. That is how we lost today. It hurts so bad but at least we are still 4 points clear!

Haha! It’s so crazy how Arsenal does this all the time. Seems intentional now! I wanted them to win actually 😪
I was so sad. Painful loss. If we don't win the league this season. I'd find it hard to watch the league next season
Don’t worry…. The love for football and the club is more than titles.:/ its an inbuilt love that won’t fade away because of losses
Am the happiest person yesterday as they loss lol
United for life, we are really the red devil lol
it is what it is boss ...The game of football can turn up or down depends on how able one team is able to detect the weak link in another, I suppose man u saw a weaklink in Arsenal that gave them that edge, I know you're a strong fan but always watch the game with your head not with your heart e get y ... have a great day man
I wonder how all of you got to this level 😜, I wish I could develop such emotions for football, during the match I was outside with a few friends immediately Arsenal lost everything this guy broke his and kicked the table, he was so upset that I was like "What's going on here?" Now you're expressing how bad you felt too on top money wey other people chop.
Lol
Anyway sorry, they will do better next time.
Arsenal sigue primero en la premier liga
Chai Arsenal knows how to break their fans heart when they least expected.
My Hubby felt like smashing his screen while watching the match yesterday. You guys should take heart.
@samostically,it really hurts,I am still hurting. The Gunners were actually controlling the game up to the moment when Zubi made that costly blunder. It literally changed the game.
Secondly, this season Arsenal has not really done well against the big teams and that's not good enough.
Well I hope they bounce back and put this loss aside, more battles ahead.Thank you for updating👍.
While I am American and rarely even hear about the results of these events I do know w a guy that is an ardent Man United fan and he couldn't stop talking about how much of an epic win it was. But like one of the people in the comments said I have a difficult tome relating to the emotions that a lot of people attach to their team. I have a favorite American football team and a favorite fighter and a favorite basketball team but when they lose I'm not really all that torn up about it. Disappointed sure but maybe I just don't get emotionally attached to my team the way others do.
I'm not judging you at all by the way.
What’s your favorite basketball team? And do you follow NBA very well?
I'm a Celtics fan but I wouldn't say that I follow the sport very closely. This is because I feel like the season is too long and there are too many games. I normally start to pay close attention towards the end of the season and will watch most of the tournament games.
