Happy FriYAY Fellow HIVERS!

I'm totally stoked today and although I didn't have an @actifit post up today; it's because Tiffany and I took a rest day. For the next seven days, we will be participating in another OTF Special Series, this one called ALL OUT MAYHEM and just like Hell Week and 12 Days of Fitness, Tiffa and I are very ALL IN!

Orangetheory Fitness workouts are already beast mode and if you follow my Actifit posts, most of them revolve around my workout that day and simply they are High Intensity Interval Training sessions; which are not as intense as Cross Fit, but kicks your ass close enough to it without the tires lol.

Anyway, All Out Mayhem consists of 7 days of more challenging, yet doable, workouts to encourage our members to awaken their inner athlete.

Members are encouraged to register and complete 4 workouts across the 7 days. Each day is themed to build excitement and focuses on specific muscle groups:

Tiffany and I will do all 7, like we did the last two seasons; they had them running with of course the pandemic knocking out last year's, so we are happy it's back.

Nothing will beat Hell Week, but we enjoy AOM a bit more than 12 days of Fitness. For Hell Week and AOM, Tiffany and do all 7 days.

Needless to say, we are booked and ready to crush it:

It's going to be difficult, not to get 12 plus splats at 7 sessions and if you know me by now; I kind of get a bit irked, when I don't.

If you read my last Actifit post yesterday, you know; I felt like a frickin boss! I was feeling beast mode to the max!!

BEAST MODE GLIMPSES

Truth be told, I have a bit of trepidation; because I've had instances where I believed I was all the way back and then - I hit the proverbial wall.

Right before I got COVID in March 2021, I ate these challenging series up and I lost a step since then, I lost one extra breath since then and I failed to be at a consistent beast mode level, since then.

But just like my journey on HIVE and all the years I put into my health and fitness; that it still demands the consistency, the daily show up and the effort to bounce back even through the rough times.

Taking into consideration, that I went through COVID and had a very bad hamstring injury along with some nagging injuries that are pretty much hear to stay and new ones that pop up along the way; I'm still working out 5 to 6 days a week and do running events as well.

Yes, it's a struggle now; but I intend to get back to where I was and even if it's by a hair (that I don't have) or that I never surpass my personal records, etc; there has to be that point where I fell that I'm all the way back with the caveat, that I'm not a spring chicken.

We will be doing all 7 Mayhems at our OTF Home Studio, OTF Nona North; just to keep it consistent. Tiffany I usually like to go to studios further out in the weekends, but for situations like this; we stay close to home.

So wish me luck, the fun begins tomorrow. My OTBeat will get great use and I hope to splat it up all seven days!!

All the best of luck for "All out Mayhem". It looks great. Best wishes for a successful completion.
Reading this post made me realise that I should do Actifit again. It help me to remain accountable. haha
