I just finished a 7.316km running that lasted about 0hh:35mm:8ss !
With yet another very short night (less than 2 hour sleep happens way too often), I didn't really feel like running today, but I couldn't finish the month so close to the 120km mark. So, as usual, late in the day, I finally decided to go for a few miles, and that brought my total for April to 122km! At least according to the Strava-corrected distances, which seems to be the most accurate. That wasn't a hard set target, but I was really hoping to reach it.
It was sunny but very windy. That's why I started in the woods, with the trees shielding most of the wind. Moreover, trails had time to dry since yesterday. When I went back to the asphalt, around the start of the third mile, the wind definitely slowed me down. It was not really supposed to be a fast run anyways, so no big deal. It felt kind of relaxed and not too strenuous. But now, my whole body's sore. I checked, it's not a fever, just tired...
I'm kind of planning another run tomorrow though. One of my friends hasn't run in years for various reasons and wants to get back into it. Of course, the most difficult part is to go for that first run, so he's looking for some company, that can help for the motivation. We might try tomorrow, but as you can imagine, that shouldn't be too intense.
Till then, keep Exhausting!
