Lunch Run Plus 200m Repeats

(Edited)

I just finished a 9.287km running that lasted about 0hh:55mm:15ss !

200m Repeats...I hate them in the pool and I hate them on the track as well.

With a little extra time on my hands I have decided that my speed work would be preceded with some light aerobic running before my higher intensity work begins.

I am trying to increase the number of 200m repeats to 20 repeats over the training session. Today though I decided to run an easy 4km run with @run.kirsty.run before completing 14 x 200m repeats, with a 100m walk in between.

The sun was shinning and I was grateful to have the chance to run outside...Hopefully it lasts.

Stay Strong Everyone!

You have uploaded 248 running activities, and 38 of them have been of similar distances (within 10 percent)!
Here are your 5-fastest running activities of a similar distance:

Over these 38 similar activities, you have travelled approximately 349.44 kms at an average pace of roughly 4:59 min/km!
Your latest run was at a pace of approximately 5.949min/km!
Looks like you went a bit slower this time! Remember that it's important to take some rest days, and do some rehab / prehab / strength and conditioning training too! If you weren't intending to go slower, take a moment to listen to your body, and see if you need something. Check in with yourself!

That's awesome Vince! 20 repeats is hardcore dude! Are you on a track or do you just have some 200m space?

Hey @aussininja yep, we have a grass track about a block away from where we live, so am making the most of that while we are stuck at home.
