Run With 10km Time Trial
I just finished a 14.573km running that lasted about 1hh:8mm:18ss !
It's time to get fired up and ready to run hard. So queue the motivational YouTube video and lets get down to work.
This is a new one I found this morning and I particular like it:
I'm a sucker for motivational videos like this, and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't and I think today it didn't. I think a large part of running is mental strength, and over the past couple of weeks, I have been hitting my times really easily so thought I would have no trouble setting a good time for my 10km time trial scheduled for today.
It's weird that I was not even able to hit close to my recent 5km PB and struggled all the way. I even miss counted my laps and almost stopped at the 9km mark. I quickly realized I was a little short and didn't loose much time.
The final numbers for the 10km time trial was 43 minutes and 8 seconds, which I am honestly really happy with as I was feeling like crap part way through the run.
It's only week 3 of my marathon training plan so this is a good reality check but gives me a lot of time to get back on track.
Stay Strong Everyone!
