Well in this part of the world we are really fortunate to be able to be racing again. Today, and because it's winter we are racing Duathlon(Run/Bike/Run) in the South of Auckland, for the national championships being held for shorter sprint distance.

For the event, there was some pretty talented races our there including some triathlon elite races for NZ and some Olympic hopefuls. Of course these were the people who won the race on the day, but I was really happy with my results with almost 6 minutes taken off my race time from last year.

The race started with a 4.3km run, followed by a 19.6km ride, with another 2.3km run at the end. It was exactly the same course as last year and I raced with exactly the same bike, so taking a large chunk of time off, was a great result and makes me feel my training is working for me.

@run.kirsty.run made here Duathlon debut and also smashed it which was great to see and loved cheering her on at the end of the race.

I'm making the most of racing while I can as we don't know how long this will last for.

Stay Strong Everyone!

You have uploaded 316 running activities, and 30 of them have been of similar distances (within 10 percent)!
Here are your 5-fastest running activities of a similar distance:

Over these 30 similar activities, you have travelled approximately 128.84 kms at an average pace of roughly 5:27 min/km!
Your latest run was at a pace of approximately 3.725min/km!
Looks like you went a bit faster than usual this time! Nice work!
Have a !BEER for your troubles!

That's cool that you can both compete again. Nothing happening here. Well done on a good performance.
