Evening Christmas Run
I just finished a 8.581km running that lasted about 0hh:45mm:43ss !
I have done a few Thursday night runs with the Under Amour running club this year. It's kinda convenient when I need to be in the office to run with them after work.
Tonight was the last night they were running for the year so they decided to have a bit of a Christmas run for the night. We ended up running up Mt Eden which is just outside of the Auckland CBD, but I have not had a chance to get up there since I have been living in Auckland, so it was a nice surprise to do that.
As with a lot of the mountains around the Auckland and New Zealand, they are extinct volcanoes, so I still find it a bit of a novelty to see them, and tonight was no different. I didn't even realize until we got to the top of the and you can see from the images, it's a pretty cool view.
