It's running time!
I just finished a 7.869km running that lasted about 0hh:45mm:52ss !
In Spain, since last Saturday, we have 2 possible time slots in order to go for running. One slot placed between 6:00 and 10:00 in ten morning and another one from 20:00 to 23:00h.
Yesterday I rest since I had to recover form a pain I get in my right knee.
Today I was planning to go earlier but my wife has an appointment also in the morning and I could not leave the children alone so... at 20:00 h has been the starting of my run.
I felt much better, seems that little by little I am recovering the aerobical conditions however I am still high in terms of Heart Frequency for the chosen pace.
The good news is that I did not notice any pain on my right knee so, all the specific stretching I did yesterday has paid off.
I tried to run softly in a progressive manner, from slow to faster in order to not put some much tension on my muscles. However, on the 5th km I did try to speed up a little more, reaching a peak of 4'/km and an average pace a km of 4'18"/km... I decided to stop pushing when I started to get some tension on my quadriceps :-).
By the way, the running trend in Barcelona keeps being high, thousands of runners and cyclist crossing the city in any direction.
Tomorrow I will rest again...you know, the main target here is to improve but without injures.
Keep on running!

Looks like you went a bit slower this time! Remember that it's important to take some rest days, and do some rehab / prehab / strength and conditioning training too! If you weren't intending to go slower, take a moment to listen to your body, and see if you need something. Check in with yourself!
