So, ich bin wieder zurück aus München. Ich lege mich jetzt auch gleich direkt pennen, deswegen gibt es heute keine Messung.

Fast alle meine Schritte stammen heute irgendwie von der Abreise oder von dem, wie ich mich halt sonst über den Tag verteilt bewegt habe. Aber ich bin eigentlich ganz zufrieden: 10.000 Schritte geschafft, obwohl ich fast 5 Stunden im Zug gesessen habe.

Ich muss auch immer wieder feststellen, wie traurig es ist, wie schlecht das Internet im Zug ist. Ich bin ein riesiger Fan davon, mit dem Zug zu fahren. Mir macht es auch nichts aus, dass es lange dauert, aber wenn man Meetings hat und nur noch Roboterstimmen hört, ist das echt traurig. Selbst wenn ich dann privat auf meinen Handy-Vertrag umschalte – auch das funktioniert nicht, obwohl es ein Premium-Tarif ist. Keine Ahnung, warum das in Deutschland immer noch so schlecht ist. Ich erinnere mich, dass ich 2018 in Ungarn war und dort viel Zug gefahren bin – da lief das Internet deutlich besser. Aber gut, da war ich auch nicht mit dem ICE unterwegs.

Naja, nevermind. Morgen bin ich erstmal beim Friseur. Ich freue mich drauf, denn meine Haare sind mittlerweile echt zu lang geworden.

So, I’m back from Munich. I’m about to go straight to bed, so no measurements today.

Pretty much all my steps today came from traveling home or just moving around during the day. But overall, I’m quite happy: I still managed to hit 10,000 steps, even though I spent almost 5 hours on the train.

One thing that keeps annoying me is how terrible the internet on trains is in Germany. I’m a huge fan of traveling by train—I don’t mind the long trips—but if you have meetings and all you hear is robotic voices, it’s pretty sad. Even when I switch to my private mobile contract—which is supposed to be a premium plan—it doesn’t work well either. No idea why that’s still such an issue here. I remember traveling a lot by train in Hungary back in 2018, and the internet there was way better. But to be fair, I wasn’t traveling on the ICE.

Anyway, nevermind. Tomorrow I’m finally heading to the hairdresser. I’m really looking forward to it, because my hair has gotten way too long.

Freut mich zu lesen, dass du wieder gesund zurückgekommen bist.

Ich versuche das Positive zu sehen:
Immerhin gab es keine Erwähnenswerten Vorfälle mit der Bahn, die deine Reisezeit verlängert haben. Das ist schonmal sehr positiv.
Den Punkt mit dem Internet...
Naja was soll man sagen...
Meiner meinung nach ist Deutschland ein absolutes Entwicklungsland geworden.
Insbesondere am ehemaligen Prunkstück deutsche Bahn kann man das sehr gut erkennen. Aber was will man auch erwarten, wenn diese Firma eher im Ausland Prestigeträchtig etwas aufbaut und hier im Kerngebiet eher nur Geld einsammelt.
Aber die Kernaufgabe sollte ja sein, einen sicheren und schnellen Transport zu gewährleisten, wenn das geklappt hat ist das Top.

Ich bin gespannt wie du nach dem Friseubesuch aussiehst, ich denke es ist mal wieder Zeit für einen "veränderten Chris" im Titelbild.
Angesichts des aktuellen ATM würde ein "BTC-Prophet Chris" gut passen

Germany has in general a really big problem with the internet. In 1990 the TV lobby paid a lot of money for the internet to be distrubuted by copper. Because that was the main distribution way for TV during this time. Since then, only small parts were upgraded. WE have really really slow internet here. I live 10 Kilometers away from a really big city (>1 Mill.) I can get 50 Mbits... That's nothing.

Says a lot about Germany sadly.
