September 25 2022 - Nothing like sleeping in the woods

I had a great night sleep in my hammock. The temperature dropped to about 8C but I didn't feel cold all night. Not until my alarm went off and I poked my arm out of my sleeping bag. I then struggled with the concept of getting out of bed.

It was also really comfortable. No hard ground to sleep on. Just suspended nicely in the air with a subtle sway in the breeze.

The sun quickly rose and the day warmed up. The photo is looking out across the woods from where I pitched my hammock.

I know what you mean by spooky but I am used to it. I really love sleeping out in the woods. It's just sp peaceful. Even when it rains.

As long as there isn't a storm.
