Tracks, Code, and a Dash of Sunlight
Today’s “walk” (if you can even call it that) was basically a scenic shuffle around the office. It wasn’t laziness—okay, maybe partly—but more about the time suck combo of writing code (actual bliss) and being socially available (less so).
Still, I managed to slip out for a quick stroll around the parking lot, then found my feet pointing toward the railway. And honestly? Worth it. There’s a weird peace that comes from standing above empty tracks, watching the perspective disappear into the vanishing point. Feels like a metaphor for focus or burnout or maybe just deadlines.
The camera came out for a few quick shots—dry fields still full of texture, winter sun doing its best, a windmill flexing clean energy vibes, and a close-up that accidentally turned into a lens flare art piece.
Not a high-step-count day, but it still counted. Some days you run marathons. Others, you walk to the train tracks and call it balance. 🚶♂️💻📸

The magic in the train tracks is that they are a possibility of endless adventures! A way of escaping should the need arise. Knowing that many have come before and will continue on their route to new destinations!

Exactly! Exactly that! The escape, the endless adventures! All the history and the stories of all that have gone before you, and all that will come behind you! I love it! I have the same thing with boats. But not with planes, weird enough. I have a fascination with them as well, but it is more technologically :-)
