My Actifit Report Card: March 25 2023

Yesterday I visited Buchan park for a walk and reported how sad it was that the shop and café was still closed since the Covid pandemic.

Well today I decided to go back, but this time as it was dry I would cycle.

To my surprise the café had reopened.

Very welcome news and a great way to promote a nice park.

I chose to cycle round the lake to take it easy on my first ride for about two months! 😩. Venturing away from the lake there are some tougher tracks for another day.

As I build my fitness up again I'll be able to tackle the hills and longer routes.

There is still a large amount of water spilling out of the lakes as it has been wet of late. I hope this cycle of wet weather soon gives way to some drier periods. April can be very dry and warm so we'll see!.
