Damn! Missed a day...

I was sitting on my couch last night, at about 11:00PM, writing up my actifit post for the 13th of November, trying to get something out before midnight... Before it disappears forever...

Suddenly, I wake up and look at the time, it's 12:15AM. Dammit! I must have nodded off...

I've been pretty exhausted the last few days.

On-call this week, since the 9th of November. It's been the most intense on-call week I've had in my two years working in the water industry.

There's been a lot going on

I'm writing this Sunday, just before I head in to work again for a few hours.

Weekend shifts consist of the absolutely critical work that must be done every day.

So as long as the plant keeps running happily, as it has for about 48 hours now, I won't have to go back in until tomorrow morning (Monday).

I once tried to buy stuff from the actifit market but it didn't work. Is there something I was meant to do to 'apply' these 'items' to a post?

Anyway, I bring it up because I have an idea...

Why not make it so people can spend actifit tokens to create an activity post from a day they missed in the past?

Like yesterday, for me?

It could be designed so that the further in the past the day was, the more actifit tokens it takes to exhume it...

...

I want to find out more about the app, and about actifit in general.

The first step, as far as I can tell, is to read the whitepaper...

That'll make things clearer...

Today's images are of a couple of huge pipes that have been removed this week.

One of three ways (inlets) that desalinated water from the city's Desalination Plant can enter the storage tanks at the WTP.

The removal is part of preparations for a new UV treatment system that is being annexed to the plant.

More on that later...

Or not.

We'll see.

In the top image, you can see the pipes have been laid down next to that rusty old valve that I wrote about in a previous post.

Rumour has it, that old valve is being kept to be cleaned and set up somewhere as a display piece.

However, I haven't had the opportunity to ask the person who would actually know what the plan is.

So, could just be bullshit...
