At the Water Treatment Plant.

Once the work was done, I went through with a personal challenge. Something I've written about before.

Climbing something really high!

Yep, that's all it really boils down to.

There's a huge gantry crane at the WTP.

It's there for the rare occasion when a raw water pump, valve or piece of pipe needs replacing.

Here it is:

I don't know how high off the ground it is, but I'll try to find out.

First off, I thought I might have to do it another time as there was a bit of thunder heard early this morning.

_{What's the worst that could happen?}

_{You get struck by lightning and fall to your death?}

Well, yes. That's right. That's exactly what could happen while climbing a really high metal crane with storm clouds hanging around.

I'm being a bit dramatic. I always planned on wearing a harness, so the falling to my death part definitely wasn't going to happen.

...

Getting struck by lightning though...

Well, I'll avoid that if I can, thanks.

So I got my harness on, and up I went.
