Tuesday was busy busy for us. I had to print out forms to update my UK votal registry. I may no longer live in the UK, but I still care what happens to the country and us Brits. If there's a Brexit referendum, I definitely want to vote for it and if nothing else add my say in getting the Tories out in the May 2022 elections! They and their #Brexit are ruining the country in every sense! Then of course I want to be part of the EU again, I live in Europe, yet I can no longer vote in European elections!!! 😡
Then we also walked / cycled to the other end of town to the furthest supermarket 2 kms away! The Red Cross gave me a credited card for this month to buy food! Bless them! It was quite an adventure, with J&B on the lead next to me and the strong wind! We walked there until the bike shop opposite, pumped up the back tire then cycled a little more to the supermarket. The real challenge was on the way back with a full rucksack on my back, a shopping bag on each side of the handlebars and my dog aswell! The wind was making me quite unstable! I had to keep egging him on, so that he wouldn't get distracted by smells and yank me to a halt! Fortunately, it only happened once and I was able to brake in time before we all ended up a mess on the pavement! 💨🚲🐕🍅🍌🍚😩💪😁
Here's a beautiful view of the wispy colourful clouds at dusk, that we managed to catch on the way home. I love the way the trees on either side (and the lamp post further down), contrast with the Atlantic sunset! 😎

I couldn't agree with you more. Brexit was never a good idea and has just provided misery. I can't see any upside. It used to be so nice when we could live, work and take our things anywhere in Europe.

I'm glad you agree, @awah! I cried for a few days when it happened! I was born in England, grew up in Greece, lived in France and now I live in Spain; yet suddenly I'm NOT European! I'm still upset! I know, it is a disaster. I work for a European company with staff in nearly every country in Europe headquartered out of the UK. It has caused us so many problems. Plus, my family live in France and it has made it more difficult to visit them and for them to come here.

It's so ironic, I saw your comment about #WINEX, then a few hours later I saw this new sign on a bars window! WINEX the new wine in a small individual bottle!
